Where to find usVery few zones in the north of Italy are as interesting and varied as the Alto Lario area: lake, flat area, hills, valleys, mountains, woods, beaches, all of which offer many opportunities for fun in the midst of nature.
In this area the views are made even more spectacular by the mountains which border the high lake Como area and the flat protected 'Pian di spagna' area where the Valtellina and Valchiavenna valleys start winding their ways up between the surrounding mountains.
The Pedaleggiando association would like to invite you to take part in their bike rides in this area which has tranquil villages, smiling valleys and sunny slopes, rides which are all within the reach of everyone to discover the historic, artistic and natural beauty of this lovely land.
Although it is quiet and away from the chaotic traffic this area is easily reached as it is near the main roads between north Italy and the mountains: you can come here passing Como or Lecco, by train along the Lecco leg of the lake, by boat with the Lake 'Navigazione Laghi' service. |

From Switzerland you can arrive from Lugano or from the alps via the Spluga or Maloja passes or the Valtellina.
Sorico is the first village on the lake in the Como Province and is at the start of the Valtellina and Valchiavenna valleys on the lake, it is the starting point for all the rides. We are based in this small country,
